Type 2 - ALUMINUM SPOOLS
| SATO RACING Swingarm Spools (type2) for models with an M8-threaded swingarm boss* feature high strength anodized billet aluminum spools with black Delrin backing rings to keep the stand hooks from slipping behind the spool or scuffing the swingarm when the bike is lifted by the stand. Choice of Black, Silver, Gold, Red or Blue anodized finish. Includes stainless steel bolts. (Set of 2). * NOTE: See top of page for list of bike models that take M8 bolt size. Fitment of the 'Type 2' spools has not been verified for all listed models; Some bike models with deep-set bolt holes in or below the swingarm might need additional spacers behind the spools so the backing ring can properly clear the swingarm. |

OPTIONAL SPACERS
| The backing rings on the type2 Spools have a small standoff, but if the outside edge touches or interferes with the swingarm (such as might be the case if the spool holes are set deep underneath or inside the swingarm), try adding aluminum spacer collars behind the spools to increase the standoff by an extra 5mm-10mm. When adding spacers, longer bolts are also recommended. If ordering the spools at the same time as the spacer collars, we can swap in longer bolts at no additional charge. (Collars are sold individually) |
